HELIO is involved in numerous projects. Despite varied approaches and target groups, the common threads running through all these projects are the role of energy and civil society in promoting ecodevelopment.

	Poverty Reduction + Climate Change		HELIO is also a member of the Global Reporting Initiative Energy Utility Sector Supplement Working Group. This is a negotiation-based process which researched and drafted the Energy Utility Sector Supplement. The group includes representatives from the energy utility companies together with report information user groups such as civil society organizations, labor organizations, investors, and rating agencies. The guidelines are now available for use.
