About the Authors

Vadim Diukanov is a chairperson of the Ukrainian Society for Sustainable Development (USSD). The USSD is a non-profit organisation of individuals and institutions registered under the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in 1995. Now it has 17 chapters across the country and several partner organisations abroad. In 1996-1997 he has contributed to the OECD Annex I expert working group of the UNFCCC on financing energy efficiency and emissions trading issues. Presently Vadim manages the IIEC-Europe's Capacity Building Program in Ukraine. He has a M. Sc. Degree in Econometrics and a Ph. D. in Management Information Systems.

Olexi Pasyuk is working at the National Ecological Centre of Ukraine as energy co-ordinator of the CEE Bankwatch Network. Works specifically on Energy and Environment issue since 1996. Owns Master in Environmental Management degree.
